Thanks to the ‘ Evil Dead’ Facebook page, we get our first look of the Necronomicon! It’s the most conniving sadistic book in demonic history. Written by the Dark Ones, it has the power to control an army of Deadites bent on ruling the world.
As Ash Williams described it, the book is “bound in human flesh and inked in blood, this ancient Sumerian text contained bizarre burial rites, funerary incantations and demon resurrection passages.” So, of course, what would a remake of the movie be without this essential book? In the original ‘ Evil Dead’ film there exists the Necronomicon Ex Mortis, otherwise known as the Book of the Dead.
